Think outside the box! Be creative! Build Brain Gym® combos!
The annual conference in Hungary last month was filled with creative uses of Brain Gym! This month’s “tips and tools” is sharing a couple of innovative ways Brain Gym is being used around the world.
Consider incorporating Brain Gym into your workout routine, which was one of the conference breakout sessions. The number of parallels between The 26 and what is done in a gym will surprise you. And give your brain a workout by combining movements— could you hold Earth Buttons while squatting?
Martial Arts and Brain Gym was another movement-based workshop. The Cross Crawl is quite active within many martial art forms. Rhythm is important from within and when working with a partner!
And we danced…partner dances require the use of all Three Dimensions. Where am I in space? Where is my partner? Can we organize our movements and avoid running into others? Are we able to sidestep when necessary? How is our directionality?
There were workshops on awakening the senses and Brain Gym—organized games—echo songs, rhythmic activities, playful explorations.
The 26 are a starting point! Don’t allow them to be the ending point.
