What if learning looked different for every child?

Homeschooling gave us the freedom to individualize learning—to follow interests, respond to challenges, and recognize the learning woven throughout everyday life.

About The Book

Learning doesn’t always look like school.

A boy pets a horse, a young man plays an acoustic guitar, and a child in a pink hat uses a sewing machine.

Different interests. Different learners. Different paths.

Lifelong Learning: Through the Eyes of a Homeschool Mom shares one family’s homeschooling journey and the lessons discovered along the way.

Through the experiences of three very different children, Cindy explores individualized learning, following interests, navigating challenges, and recognizing the learning happening in everyday life.

About the author

Smiling woman with long blonde hair and glasses, wearing a navy jacket over a white shirt, stands with arms crossed in front of a dark, draped background—exuding confidence and a commitment to lifelong learning.

Cindy A. Goldade is an educator, homeschool mom, Brain Gym® instructor, and lifelong learner passionate about helping others view education through a broader lens.

Drawing from experiences homeschooling her three children, movement-based learning, and alternative educational approaches such as Montessori, she encourages families and educators to support the whole child through connection, curiosity, and meaningful real-life experiences.

Lifelong Learning grew from that journey—years of learning alongside her children, adapting when the expected path didn’t fit, and discovering that some of life’s most meaningful learning happens far beyond the traditional classroom.
